Events
Although Croatia is a relative small country it hosts a number of international business-; cultural- and sports events.
Business Events:
The Business events range from local fairs like the wine or olive exhibition in Split; to large international conferences and fairs in Zagreb.
Cultural Events:
The cultural events range from numerous local happenings; mainly based on the more than 2000 years of cultural heritage, to large scale exhibitions and of course the upcoming film festival in Motovun.
Sports Events:
Sports have always been very important in Croatia, on local level there is always some sport event going on. Do to a lack of sport facilities; Croatia have not been hosting any large international event for years, this will change in 2009 when the men’s handball championship is played in 6 completely new sports arenas
