I did it in early november and encountered a lot of elements (even sleeted on the peak). The tip about good hiking shoes was a good one, but only had trainers so they had to do. Didn't see a soul on the trail and was quite dangerously and stupidly underprepared (no waterproofs and bad treads). But, thankfully just got a little wet and that was all. Views were great when the clouds cleared. So, just wanted to thank you for the blog cause wouldn't of had any clue of how to get there (i took the bus to sitno) and what to expect. Cheers!
