New year in Croatia – where to go?
New year’s day is comming. Since everyone is asking me how will I spend it, I started to think about: What’s the best way to spend holidays?
We just moved to new apartment that we like very much, and my husband agreed to stay at home. I’ll make my own christmas decorations, bake cookies and we’ll be with family. This year it will be traditional holiday. But, somehow, when I told that to our friends, I got the feeling that my idea is not good enough. One even asked me: what are you, an old lady?
That made me really thinking. And so I started making plans again. And found out I’m allmost too late. Oure friends already payed to some bar that is organising party. Other are going to Austria for skiing. Everyone has something organised! Nowone will be at home! I started caling arround to see if there is anything free. Nothing good enough! I was so sad going home, with a feeling of ruining holiday, because staying at home was my proposal.
So, when I came home, I gave my husband a travel brochures (the only thing I could find). He looked at them, and than laught: “My dear wife, what do you think I like more: skiing on cold wetter, or being at home in warm eating and laying on our couch?” Just the answer I needed!
