Top location with a clean room ( we had no views). Lovely indoor pool. Breakfast was fine. Bike storage was good

The apartment is very large, and the view from the bathroom window is lovely. It's very nice that parking is included, though it was almost always full, so I wonder what you would do if there were no spots available.

A super location for a stay near Motovun. Nena is an exceptional host who kindly took our bikes in and locked them away in the garage. She took us to the village in her car which is a 25 min walk up the road. She also made us coffee and pastry breakfast.

This apartment is in a beautiful location if you’d like to unwind after a long day of seeing Motovun. My partner and I biked to Motovun, then checked in around 7 pm, and left in the morning via the Parenzana (additional perk that the path is right by). The apartment is a bit far from Motovun by foot, took us approximately 15 minute by bike (and that was going downhill). We didn’t stay long in the morning and did not get to experience the complimentary breakfast that many other reviews referred to. The apartment did have an electric kettle (but no instant coffee) and a mini fridge. Everything was very clean and we loved sitting in the backyard, watching the stars.

Great place for lovers of medieval hill-top towns and truffles. One can enjoy just a stroll through the town and views of surroundings for an hour, can have a great dining experience or stay for days and explore Istria, one of the prettiest and welcoming places on earth. "Medieval" and "hill-top" also mean that you walk a lot on rugged cobblestone, you walk uphill and climb stairs, and "great place" means it's crowded in the high season (summer). Still, one of the better places to escape to from crowded coastal towns, focused primarily on visitors' wallets.

A classic medieval town that was so fun to explore.
A classic medieval town that was so fun to explore. Be sure to visit the cathedral (opened about 10 during our visit) and (carefully) climb the bell tower for a spectacular view of the valley and beyond. We visited in late October when some businesses had closed for the season and others were winding down. We would visit again in September.

Great location in old town.
Great location in old town. Wonderful people and amazing views from the walls and restaurants. Wine and truffle country and free samples were almost too much. Lol
Tiny and hilly old stone streets within a walled city oozing with history.
Our host was gracious, laid back and a pleasure to just chat with.
We would highly recommend.

It's a spectacular location on a hilltop with amazing views all-round of mountainous country including vineyards & olive groves. Delicious and reasonably-priced restaurants at the very top, friendly people, tons of charm. Nearby are several vineyards & the local wines are very nice, and affordable. Easy day trips to Pula, Rovinj, Buzet & others.

This was my first time in Istria.
This was my first time in Istria. We checked out Kozlovic winery, we sampled their delicious wine and had a tour. View is spectacular. Had dinner in Motovun, tried gnocchi with truffles, very tasty! Pictures of the amazing views do not do it justice. Will definitely visit again!

Motovun is lovely little town in the heart of Istria.
Motovun is lovely little town in the heart of Istria. I really liked it. The prices at restaurants in general in comparison to offer are a bit limited. However we managed to find something for ourselves at the end. We missed bakeries. We did not find single one so we travelled to Pazin on our way back home and found amazing bakery.
Perhaps tourism board should create a special list with all possible places providing food and menu of same, all in one place saves from walking especially if one has slight walking disabilities.
Everything else is lovely and look forward returning to Istria
The perfect modern Villa, fantastic peaceful location with views of Motovun and the valley below. The beds are so comfortable, linen and towels high quality. Bathrooms , showers baths all modern. Air conditioning, sofa and tv area, pool table we used a lot, outside eating area, shaded seating area and the pool and loungers were wonderful! The managing agent and the owner are really friendly and attentive, lovely genuine people. We had the perfect week and will be back again!
Beautiful apartment; spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and a stunning view from the bathroom. It has all you need for a long or short stay, and to feel right at home. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from the center of town, within the old city. Jakov was an excellent host, friendly and responsive, and very helpful during my stay. I highly recommend, and would love to stay again!
The hotel and room was quite comfortable, although a bit on the small side. We chose it because we knew the winery, and wanted to explore the region from there. There is a very nice wine tasting and tour around the property, and it's very close to the city of Motovun, and a few other places in case you feel like exploring (by car): Buje, other wineries, etc.
Beautiful clean rooms in probably the best location in Motovun. Warm hospitality and an amazing breakfast. Truffles were not quite in season but they were able to find a white truffle and scramble it with eggs for us to try and we greatly enjoyed it! The lodging is connected to a small truffle and oil shop where guests receive a 10% discount!
Bella Vista is at the very heart of Motovun, literally steps away from historical and cultural sites, shops, and restaurants. It's spacious, clean, and quiet at night, and the views are stunning. The people are welcoming, warm, and helpful. The owners' shop, Miro Tartufi, sells incredibly tasty truffle products.
This place is spectacular and the food is unbeatable. You can be left alone and do your own thing and experience the town or you can go on an incredible truffle hunt. It seems like all Croatian host are nice but Lorena and Mikhail are stupendous.
Exceptionally clean and fresh. Beautifully decorated. Every convenience provided. Host provides coffee and milk. Well equipt kitchen. Comfortable beds. Just a lovely, spacious place. The views out the windows can’t be beat!
Location is great, right in the middle of the plaza. If you have a car, you need some coordination with the hotel because parking is a little far and there is a post that has to be lowered in order to access the parking lot.
Charming and renovated place located in the middle of Motovun old town. We had dinner in the restaurant of the same owner and the quality of food was excellent. Parking was free of charge and nearby.
