Alex Wajda,
You do not need visas for a stay up to 90 days.
You must carry your passports together with your permanent residence permits.
Dear All,
I am an Indian citizen, living in Hungary on a work permit and also have a valid B1 US visa. Do I need to apply for a visa to visit Croatia as a tourist?
Regards,
DV
DV,
You require a visa unless you are coming to Croatia as a tourist in an organised group and arriving from a Schengen Member State and having a travel health insurance.

good morning
we are travelling to Croatia in July 2011 on SA Passports and we have a valid Croatian visa.
We are flying into split and will visit Hvar – I am unable to find out if it is possible to take a ferry/catamaran from Hvar to Dubrovnik – we are wanting to do this on a Thursday – no ferry that day – does this mean it will be impossible or are there other ferry lines that do this route. I know one can take a bus from Split to Dubrovnic, but am aware that the bus goes through a portion of Bosnia.Herz – do we need a visa for Bosnia/Herz in order to do the bus trip?
Thanks so much
Safron

Hello,
I have a valid Schengen residence permit till 2012 & I am an Indian citizen.
I am required to visit Croatia in the month of August for Business purposes.
Do I need to apply for a Croatia visa or am I covered under the exceptions?
Thanks for your reply,
Molly
Sreemanth,
You require a visa unless you are coming to Croatia as a tourist in an organised group and arriving from a Schengen Member State and having a travel health insurance. It takes approximately 1-2 weeks to be issued a visa, if eligible.
khaled,
You did not mention your citizenship. For more information visit: http://www.mfa.hr/MVP.asp?pcpid=1615
If you are a citizen of country which nationals require a visa, you require a visa no matter if you enter and leave the country the same day.

As a citizen of Kuwait you do not require a Croatian visa IF you have a visa issued by a Schengen member state and valid travel health insurance.

.
Khaled,
If you do not have a valid Schengen visa, you require a Croatian visa if you wish to visit Croatia, no matter if you will enter and leave the country the same day. Every country has a different Visa Policy.
Yllka,
Since the UK is not a Schengen member country, your husband (Kosovan citizen) requires a visa for entry into Croatia.

Hi Morten
I’m visiting from the US with a 3mth tourist visa. I have some interviews lined up in London. And am hitting the end of my tourist visa. I booked a flt to Croatia and staying for 5 days thinking if I get my passport stamped before my 3 mth is up it will reinstate another 3 month visit.
Is this incorrect? If yes, how long would i have to stay in croatia to prolong my stay in EU?
thank you,
Good day sir!
I am a filipino citizen holding a philippine passport with an expired schengen visa, but i Am married to my german wife for 5yrs, we are here now in germany and filed an application for a resident visa but the magistrad told us that I need to get out of the schengen territory first to obtain my visa in the austrian embassy to where i will be stayin (non-scngen country). I would like to know if its possible for me to apply for a croatian tourist visa so i could stay there for a period of 1month or 2 to wait there for the release of my germany resident visa? Please response… Your answer will be highly appreciated. Big thanks!
George
Hello,
I’m a german citizen and I together with my wife I would like to travel to croatia for vacation.
I already tried to inform about the whole visa procedure by writing an E-Mail to the embassy of croatia. Unfortunately – after meanwhile 4 weeks – they still didn’t text back.
Today I checked the internet again and found the following note, written on the homepage of the embassy:
_____________________________________________________
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Government of the Republic of Croatia, at its session on 10 March 2011, adopted the decision to temporarily facilitate the entry of aliens on tourist visits to the Republic of Croatia on the basis of valid Schengen residence permits and visas. Consequently, the following categories of aliens temporarily, from 1 April to 31 October 2011, do not require a visa:
1) Holders of valid Schengen residence permits ( covering entry and transit);
2) Nationals of the Republic of India and of the People’s Republic of China, holders of valid Schengen visas, who collectively and in an organised manner visit the Republic of Croatia as tourists, if in possession of a valid travel health insurance and arriving from the Schengen Area, and
3) Nationals of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates who visit the Republic of Croatia as tourists, holders of valid Schengen visas, if in possession of a valid travel health insurance.
Aliens who are holders of valid Schengen residence permits or valid Schengen visas for short-term stay temporarily do not require a visa for the Republic of Croatia if they are arriving to the Republic of Croatia on cruise ships with the purpose of tourist visit.
According to the decision by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, facilitated entry of the foreign nationals meeting specified requirements applies from 5 November 2010 until 31 December 2011.

We will go there by car and will take the ferry from Split to Supetar.
Does this note also include my wife?
Or does she still have to apply for a visa?
She’s got the residence permit (+working permit) for germany and is also allowed to travel within the Schengen area.
We wanna stay there from August 20 to September 3.
In case we still have to apply:
I would like to know if me and my wife can just go to any embassy of croatia (munich, berlin, …) without having an appointment, or if you need to have one – and how long we will have to wait for the issuing.
Thank you in advance for helping me.
Regards from germany
Julia

Is getting a working and/or resident visa easy for a person who starts a business in Croatia? Many countries claim to have easy and facilitated procedures of getting work/resident permit, but in reality you see the real face of the evil:) Is Croatia different?
Thanks in advance.
